Mix glutinous rice flour, plain flour, sugar, yeast & water.

Add oil & red coloring, knead into a smooth dough.

Divide into 10 pieces, shape into rounds & flatten slightly on baking paper.

Rest until slightly puffy.

Steam over medium heat for 12-15 minutes.

  • If the weather is too cold, extend the fermentation time.
  • Turn off the heat and leave the lid slightly open for 2–3 minutes. This prevents collapse and condensation.
